Who We Are

Melinda began working with people who have intellectual disabilities in 2008 serving both adults and children. After graduating Husson University in 2009, she began working as an Adult Community Case Manager. She worked in areas of direct care, Adult Community Case Manager, Program Manager, and Quality Assurance for a total of 14 years. Melinda has extensive knowledge in advocacy, community resources, services, policies, and funding sources.

 

In 2017 Melinda obtained her License in Social Work. Melinda developed Lighthouse Community Care, LLC in 2020.

Melinda lives in a small town in Midcoast Maine. She enjoys spending time with her family, and attending to her small farm. She likes walking in the sand at the beach and playing video games.
